Job summary

Seco Tools LLC in Reynoldsville, PA, seeks an experienced Walter CNC Set-Up Operator to join our precision tool grinding team. You will set up, prove out, and optimize Walter CNC grinders to produce round cutting tools, reading blueprints and GD&T to ensure print accuracy.

We value hands-on experience with carbide and HSS tools, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or with others in a 5S environment. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Set up and operate Walter CNC tool & cutter grinders to produce round tools.
• Read blueprints, tool drawings, and engineering specifications.
• Load programs, make offsets, and perform minor edits to ensure geometry accuracy.
• Perform first-piece inspection and in-process checks with precision tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Walter CNC tool & cutter grinders (e.g., Helitronic series) for round tool production.
• Read and interpret blueprints, tool drawings, and engineering specifications.
• Load programs, make offsets, and perform minor edits to ensure tool geometry accuracy.
• Perform first-piece inspection and in-process checks using micrometers, calipers, indicators, etc.
