Job summary

TECOMET in Michigan is seeking a Production Team Lead to coordinate daily operations, provide work direction, and ensure resources are available to meet production goals.

You will drive Lean initiatives, reduce waste, lead day-to-day activities, and collaborate with the group to uphold policies; cross-train staff and maintain skills matrices.

Candidates should have 1–3 years manufacturing experience and familiarity with Windows Word/Excel/Outlook; a 2-year degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; a two-year degree is preferred.
• Experience operating computers with Windows Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• 1–3 years manufacturing experience preferred.
• MRP/ERP knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day production activities to meet commitments while improvements are being made.
• Identify and implement Lean-driven continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage resources within the assigned value stream.
• Ensure cross training and skills matrix updates.
• Support adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Perform related duties as needed.
