Job summary

TECOMET in Michigan seeks a Production Team Lead to coordinate daily operations, ensure adequate resources, provide work direction, and drive Lean improvements to meet business goals under company policies.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED (associate degree preferred), 1–3 years manufacturing experience, and familiarity with Windows Word/Excel/Outlook. MR/ERP knowledge is a plus. Strong problem solving and safety awareness are essential.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
Experience operating computers with Windows Word and Excel and Outlook.
MRP/ERP knowledge preferred.
1–3 years manufacturing experience preferred.
Ability to develop, implement and assess performance metrics.
Knowledge of safety practices and procedures.
Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and facilitate daily production operations to ensure commitments are achieved.
Lead Lean initiatives and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
Manage resources within the assigned value stream area.
Assist with development and communication of team adherence to policies and procedures.
Ensure cross-training of employees and update skills matrix.
Perform other related duties as needed.
