TECOMET in Williamston, MI is seeking a Production Team Lead to coordinate daily operations, provide resources and on-going work direction, and solve problems to ensure business goals are met under company policies.

You will drive Lean manufacturing initiatives, lead day-to-day production activities in the assigned area, manage value-stream resources, and support group leadership by communicating policies, ensuring cross-training, and maintaining the skills matrix.

Competenze

• Must have high school diploma or GED; two-year degree preferred.
• Experience with Windows Word, Excel and Outlook.
• 1–3 years manufacturing experience preferred.
• MRP/ERP knowledge preferred.
• Ability to develop, implement and assess performance metrics.
• Strong customer service and safety awareness.

Mansioni

• Lead day-to-day production activities within the assigned area to meet commitments while improvements are being made.
• Be a change agent and drive waste reduction through Lean deployment.
• Manage resources of the assigned areas of the value stream.
• Assist Group Lead in development and communication of team adherence to policies and procedures.
• Ensure cross training of employees and upkeep of the skills matrix.
• Perform other related duties as needed.
