Job summary

TECOMET is seeking a Production Team Lead to coordinate daily manufacturing operations, drive Lean initiatives, and manage resources in the Michigan facility. The role emphasizes developing and communicating performance metrics and ensuring adherence to company policies and safety practices.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma (GED) with 1–3 years of manufacturing experience and familiarity with MRP/ERP systems and Microsoft Office products.

Qualifications

• Must have lean manufacturing mindset and ability to identify waste and drive improvements.
• Must be able to develop and communicate performance metrics.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems preferred.
• Proficiency in Windows Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day production activities within the assigned area to meet current commitments while improvements are made.
• Manage resources of the assigned areas of the value stream.
• Assist Group Lead in development and communication of team adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Ensure cross training of employees and update skills matrix.
• Perform other related duties as needed.
• Be a change agent and drive out waste through lean deployment.
