Job summary

TECOMET is seeking a Production Team Lead to coordinate daily operations, ensure adequate resources, and provide on-going work direction to meet business goals under company policies. You will drive Lean improvements, lead production activities, and manage value-stream resources in a fast paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires 1–3 years manufacturing experience, familiarity with MRPs/ERP, and strong metrics and safety awareness.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; a two-year degree preferred.
Experience operating computers with Windows Word, Excel, and Outlook.
1–3 years manufacturing experience preferred.
MRP/ERP knowledge preferred.
Develop and assess performance metrics.
Knowledge of safety practices.
Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day production activities within the assigned area to meet commitments while improvements are being made.
Be a change agent and drive out waste using Lean methodology.
Manage resources of the assigned areas of the value stream.
Assist Group Lead in development and communication of assigned team’s adherence to company policies and procedures.
Ensure cross training of employees and update the skills matrix.
Performs other related duties as needed.
