Job summary

EXALTA is seeking a CNC Setup Operator to perform one or more machining functions on metal workpieces, ensuring adherence to prints. You will set up tools, fixtures, and workpieces, review blueprints, and adjust speeds, feeds, and tooling as required.

The candidate should have 3-5 years in CNC setup, experience in ISO/FDA environments, and strong measurement skills to verify part dimensions with high precision.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of CNC setup and advanced operation.
• Experience in ISO/FDA environment preferred.
• Knowledge of CNC equipment and tooling.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Proficient in precision measuring equipment.
• Knowledge of G&M coding and GD&T.
• Strong math skills and basic machine programming.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and tend CNC machines to perform machining functions to print.
• Mount, install, align, and secure tools, fixtures, and workpieces.
• Review blueprints to determine machine operations and sequencing.
• Transfer commands to CNC modules and set speeds/feeds.
• Perform part inspection using precision measuring instruments and CMM.
