Job summary

Exalta Group seeks an experienced CNC Machinist to set up and operate metalworking equipment, ensuring parts meet print specifications. You will load tools, review programs, and adjust processes for quality and throughput in a regulated environment.

You will inspect parts with precision instruments, maintain documentation, and collaborate with engineering and production to solve issues and implement improvements.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in CNC setup and advanced operation.
• Experience in ISO/FDA environment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Proficient in precision measuring equipment: micrometer, caliper, optical comparator.
• Knowledge of G&M coding and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and tend CNC machines to produce parts per print.
• Mount, align, and secure tools, attachments, fixtures, and workpieces.
• Review programs/blueprints to determine machine operations and sequencing.
• Select tools, materials, and machines for machining work.
• Transfer commands to CNC modules and manage program changes.
• Monitor operations and adjust as needed for quality and efficiency.
• Perform part inspection with precision measuring instruments and fixtures.
• Maintain documentation per ISO 13485 and FDA requirements.
