Job summary

Aerocom Industries Inc is seeking a skilled CNC Setup professional to prepare CNC machines for production, validate tooling, and ensure part quality. The role requires reading blueprints, GD&T, and program adjustments to maintain high precision in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The candidate should have 2–3 years of CNC setup experience, a high school diploma, and preferably a CNC tech program or an associate degree. NIMS certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years CNC setup experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience reading blueprints and GD&T
• High school diploma; CNC tech school/associate degree a plus
• NIMS or similar certifications preferred

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC machines for production runs, ensure tools/fixtures/materials are installed
• Load and verify CNC programs and adjust as needed
• Perform first-piece inspections with calipers, micrometers, CMMs
• Maintain routine maintenance on CNC machines and document actions
• Train less experienced operators on setup and operation procedures
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe work area
