Job summary

Harvey Vogel Manufacturing in Minnesota is seeking a skilled CNC Setup/Operator on the 2nd shift (Mon-Thu 3:15pm-1:45am). You will run CNC and manual equipment to blueprint specs, set up fixtures, and support repeatable production.

You will verify tooling, program checks, and collaborate with Quality to approve first-piece runs. The role requires reading blueprints, GD&T, and performing precision measurements. Overtime may be required to meet customer deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and GD&T requirements.
• Ability to set up CNC machines and fixtures for production.
• Proficiency with quality inspection and precision measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC and manual equipment to blueprint specifications and support repeatable production.
• Program verification, tooling checks, and fixture validation prior to startup.
• Coordinate with Quality to approve first-piece inspections and start production.
• Evaluate alternative setups to improve efficiency and reduce cycle times.
• Maintain organized work area and ensure machines are ready for the next run.
