Job summary

You will troubleshoot machining issues, perform SPC studies, and collaborate with engineers to optimize programs and ensure quality. A High School Diploma or GED is required, with 1–3 years of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years CNC machining or related manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, process sheets, and drawings to determine machining requirements and setup.
• Set up and operate CNC machines and related tools in the work cell.
• Mount, align, and secure tooling, fixtures, and workpieces.
• Load CNC programs and retrieve instructions from the controller/database.
• Monitor machine operation and adjust feeds, speeds, and offsets for accuracy.
• Inspect first-piece and in-process parts using precision measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers, indicators, CMMs).
• Troubleshoot machining issues and adjust as needed to meet quality standards.
• Collaborate with supervisors, programmers and engineers to resolve issues and optimize programs.
• Assist with CNC programming/proving-out and optimize existing programs.
• Maintain clean, safe, organized work areas and meet production schedules.
