Eaton's Aerospace Division is seeking a CNC Setup Machinist for 3rd shift in Charleston, SC. The role focuses on setting up and changing over production runs on CNC mills and lathes, then running parts to ensure quality. Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of two years experience operating CNC lathes and/or mills in a manufacturing environment; OR an Associate's degree or higher in machining or manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead setup/changeover between production runs on CNC mills and lathes and operate selected machines during production.
• Set up tools and input part changes, retrieve programs and input data.
• Establish work offsets (G54, G55) manually and with probing technology; calculate axis coordinates up to 3 axes.
• Read, interpret and reset CNC programs; input axis coordinates X, Y, Z or use spindle probe for offsets.
• Utilize GD&T to adjust work offsets and ensure quality parts from the work cell.
