Qualifications

• Two years’ experience operating CNC lathes and/or mills in a manufacturing or operations environment.
• One year’s experience setting up CNC lathes and/or mills.
• U.S. export regulations require a U.S. person (citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee).
• No relocation benefit; candidates must reside within 50 miles of North Charleston, SC.
• Eaton will not sponsor CPT/OPT/STEM OPT or similar visa programs.

Responsibilities

• Set up and prepare CNC machines for production runs, including tooling and program retrieval.
• Establish work offsets (G54, G55, etc.) and input coordinates; verify with probing if needed.
• Read and reset CNC program codes; ensure accuracy of axis coordinates (X, Y, Z).
• Operate CNC machines through the production run, ensuring quality parts.
• Collaborate with team to support troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
