Job summary

Eaton's Aerospace Division in Charleston, SC is hiring a CNC Setup Machinist for the 3rd shift. Relocation is offered; core hours are 11:00 pm–7:00 am, Monday–Friday. Base rate is $26.50–$29/hr with a $2.50/hr shift differential and a $3,000 sign-on bonus.

You will lead changeovers between production runs on CNC mills and lathes, set up tools, establish work offsets, read programs, and ensure quality parts from the work cell.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years operating CNC lathes and/or mills or an AAS/AS in machining/manufacturing.
• 1+ year setup experience on CNC lathes/mills.
• U.S. export control eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and perform part changeovers on CNC machines.
• Establish work offsets and input coordinates.
• Read and reset CNC programs and GD&T tolerances.
• Maintain quality parts and safe, efficient work cell operations.
