Job summary

CoorsTek in Oak Ridge, TN is seeking a CNC Set-Up I for the Fri-Sat-Sun 6pm-6am weekend shift to load and tweak preset CNC programs and run equipment to produce quality parts. You will work in a team to meet production goals and maintain a safe, clean work area.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of CNC experience, basic CAD/CAM knowledge, and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Strong math and attention to detail are essential; we value diverse teamwork and reliable

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred but not required.
• Three years of relevant CNC experience.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Intermediate math and computer skills; CAD/CAM and G/M code knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Download preset CNC programs and adjust sequences as required.
• Operate CNC equipment to produce parts per instructions.
• Inspect parts and record results; report deviations.
• Perform basic machine adjustments and preventive maintenance.
• Move and transport materials with hand truck, pallet jack, forklift, crane, or hoist.
• Maintain clean work area and equipment.
• Wear PPE as required.
