Job summary

CoorsTek is seeking a CNC Set-Up I for the Weekend Night shift (Fri–Sun, 6:00pm–6:00am) to load and adjust preset CNC programs and operate manufacturing machinery. You will work in a team to meet goals and ensure clean, safe work areas and quality of output.

Responsibilities include program loading, basic adjustments, in-process inspection, and equipment maintenance. High school diploma encouraged; three years of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Three (3) year relevant experience.
• Intermediate math (algebra, geometry) and computer skills.
• Ability to learn, understand and utilize CAD/CAM programs and G and M codes.
• Knowledge of GD&T and SPC.
• Attention to detail and good listening skills.
• Able to work with diverse people from different backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform CNC machinery set-up by downloading preset CNC programs; make minor adjustments to CNC programs.
• Operate CNC equipment to produce acceptable product per instructions.
• Inspect parts for defects and report deviations.
• Perform basic machine adjustments and preventative maintenance.
• Move and transport product using hand-truck, pallet jack, forklift, crane, or hoist.
• Clean work area, machines, tools and equipment.
• Wear required PPE at all times in designated areas.
