Job summary

CoorsTek, Inc. is seeking a CNC Set-Up I for the Weekend Shift Nights (Fri-Sun, 6p-6a) to load and tweak preset CNC programs and run manufacturing equipment. You will work in a team to meet goals and maintain a clean, safe work area.

The role requires three years of relevant CNC experience, basic math and CAD/CAM skills, and the ability to read work instructions. HS diploma or equivalent preferred, with opportunities to grow in a ceramic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Three years of relevant CNC experience.
• HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to learn CAD/CAM and G/M codes.
• Familiar with GD&T and SPC.

Responsibilities

• Perform CNC machinery set-up by downloading preset CNC programs and make minor adjustments.
• Operate CNC equipment to produce acceptable product per work instructions.
• Inspect parts during in-process inspection and report deviations.
• Perform basic machine adjustments and preventive maintenance (coolants, filters).
• Stack and transport product using hand-truck, pallet jack, forklift, crane, or hoist.
• Maintain clean work area, machines, tools and equipment.
• Wear required PPE at all times in mandatory areas.
