Job summary

CoorsTek is hiring for a CNC Set-Up I on the 841 Midnights weekend shift (Fri/Sat/Sun, 6p-6a) in Oak Ridge, TN. You will load and adjust preset CNC programs, operate machinery, and ensure quality via in-process inspection.

The role requires basic maintenance, material handling, and teamwork in a safety-focused environment. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (or equivalent), 3 years of relevant experience, and the ability to read and follow instructions, perform math, and use CAD/CAM/G

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Three years of relevant experience.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions; strong math and computer skills.
• Learn and use CAD/CAM, G-code programming, GD&T and SPC.
• Attention to detail and good listening skills; works with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Download preset CNC programs and adjust to direct machine operation.
• Operate CNC equipment to produce acceptable product per work instructions.
• Inspect parts for defects and report deviations.
• Perform basic machine adjustments (offsets, tapers) and basic preventive maintenance.
• Stack and transport product using hand-truck, pallet jack, forklift, crane, or hoist.
• Keep work area and equipment clean.
• Wear required PPE in designated areas.
