CoorsTek, Inc. is seeking a CNC Set-Up I for the Midnight Weekend shift (Fri/Sat/Sun, 6p-6a) in Oak Ridge, TN. The role involves basic CNC set-up and operation, following work instructions and quality requirements. A+ year of experience is valued, with pay ranging from $21.00 to $25.00 per hour.

Education begins with a High School Diploma or equivalent; candidates should understand G/M codes, GD&T, and SPC basics, and be able to work with diverse teams and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• 1 year relevant experience.
• Ability to understand and act on verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic CNC machine set-up by loading preset programs and minor adjustments.
• Operate CNC equipment to produce product per instructions and quality requirements.
• Perform basic in-process inspection; record results and report defects or deviations.
• Perform basic machine adjustments and minor preventative maintenance (coolants, filters, lubricants).
• Stack and transport product using hand-truck, pallet jack, forklift, crane, or hoist.
• Clean work area, machines, tools and equipment.
