Job summary

Gosiger is seeking a field service technician to troubleshoot and repair CNC machine tools at customer sites and company facilities in the Solon, Ohio area. The role emphasizes high-quality service, timely maintenance, and safety, with ongoing training and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities include installation, documenting actions in service software, and providing on-site guidance to customers and staff. Travel to support training and service is expected.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or certification in CNC troubleshooting, repair, and installation.
• Minimum 2 years experience in troubleshooting, installation, and repair of Machine Tools.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a service vehicle.
• Interpersonal communication and professional conduct with customers and peers.
• Self-starter with planning and organizational skills; teamwork across departments.
• Ability to use PC and job-related software.
• Physical ability to bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and solve CNC machine tool issues.
• Perform installation, maintenance and repair of machine tools.
• Document actions in service software; report parts and repairs (same day to 24 hours).
• Communicate arrival, progress and departure with customers.
• Assist and train customers and internal team members.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of company equipment and workspace.
