Job summary

DMG MORI USA, Inc. is seeking a Service Engineer to perform maintenance, repair, and installation of DMG MORI CNC machine tools on customer sites or by phone. You will create technical documentation and generate service reports while supporting engineers and customers across a multi-state region.

The role requires 3–5 years of electrical and mechanical troubleshooting experience and a technical degree. Travel up to 50% and collaboration with the Technical Center are essential components of this

Qualifications

Bachelors or Associates Degree in a technical field preferred.
3-5 years electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance of CNC machine tools.
Experience with DMG MORI/MORI SEIKI machines, Fanuc, Mitsubishi, and/or Siemens controls a plus.
Strong verbal and written communication with excellent customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

Provide maintenance, repair, and installation assistance of DMG MORI CNC machine tools on site or by telephone.
Create and update documentation of technical information.
Develop, generate, and analyze ongoing and ad-hoc service reports.
Train and assist Customers Service Engineers on new product lines.
Maintain exemplary communication and customer relationships; handle difficult situations professionally.
Travel and support customers across multi-state regions; work at the Technical Center when not visiting customers.
