Job description

Shift Pattern:

AM Shift 05:30am - 1:30pm Monday to Friday

PM Shift 2:00pm - 10:00pm Monday to Thursday (8:00pm finish Friday)

The role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a CNC Programmer Operator to join a market-leading manufacturing business in Worcester.

Duties:

• Producing a wide & varied range of highly toleranced parts used in the manufacture of CNC machines.
• Understanding CNC controls & offering improvement ideas.
• Working within a team of engineers following health & safety guidelines.
• Promoting a positive culture through H&S improvements & kaizen initiatives.

Requirements:

• Understanding of milling/machining centre machines.
• Experience setting & operating automated CNC loaded machine tools.
• Experience with cutting tools, fixtures & measuring equipment.
• Experience working in a busy manufacturing environment within a team.
• Ability to edit & program from engineering drawings (desirable).
• Mechanical engineering apprenticeship (desirable).
