With nearly 60 years of experience, Amuneal operates two divisions in Philadelphia: the Technical Products Division, the largest and most respected supplier of magnetic shielding, and the award-winning Custom Fabrication Division, creating original designs for high-end residential and commercial interiors.

Amuneal is seeking a CNC Operator + Programmer to operate Haas CNC Mills and Lathes, assisting in the fabrication of our products. The role involves working a 4-day, 10-hour week from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Thursday.

Responsibilities

1. Read blueprints, CAD models, and technical drawings for programming.
2. Set up and operate CNC controlled machines, perform maintenance, repairs, and alterations of machinery, machine parts, tools, and equipment with minimal supervision.
3. Follow ISO requirements and safety procedures.

Qualifications

1. 1-3 years experience in programming CNC machinery.
2. Punctual and reliable, able to work full-time hours, likely from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Thursday, in the Frankford area of Philadelphia.
3. Completed classes or demonstrated knowledge of CAD/CAM 3D modeling software.
4. Knowledge of Fusion 360 is a plus.
5. Experience with laser cutting/CNC machining and enthusiasm for becoming a subject matter expert.
6. Familiarity with tools such as lathe, vertical milling machine, drill press, hydraulic press, chop saw, band saw, and various cutting tools and equipment.
