Job description

Our client is looking for an experienced Citizen Swiss Machine Operator to work full or part time on our 2nd shift.

Responsibilities:

1. Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, materials, specifications, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
2. Sets up lathes by installing and adjusting various types of tools.
3. Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions.
4. Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.

Job Requirements:

• 1-5 years of experience
• Knowledge of machining techniques and methods and familiarity with computer numerically controlled machine tool operating procedures
• Ability to work from programming instructions, operational data, and machine set-up instructions
