Job description

Our client, a leading manufacturer in the industry, is seeking a CNC Machine Operator to join their team. As a CNC Machine Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting the engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title:

CNC Machine Operator

Pay Range:

$22 per hour

What’s the Job?
  1. Operate CNC machines, including milling and turning centers, to fabricate parts according to technical drawings and specifications.
  2. Set up and adjust CNC machines for optimal performance, including tool changes and offsets.
  3. Utilize CAM programming software to create and modify machining programs as needed.
  4. Conduct regular inspections of finished products using calipers and other measuring tools to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  5. Troubleshoot machine issues and perform routine maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
What’s Needed?
  1. Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role in a factory setting.
  2. Proficiency in CNC programming, including knowledge of CAM programming software.
  3. Familiarity with machining processes such as milling, turning, stamping press operations, and assembly line workflows.
  4. Strong attention to detail with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  5. Experience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
