Job summary

ITT Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer / CNC Programmer II to develop and optimize CNC machining processes for ITT components. You will design fixtures, create CAM programs, and support multiple machining platforms while guiding junior engineers.

The role emphasizes advanced CAD/CAM proficiency, process analysis, and continuous improvement in a high-precision environment. Collaboration with engineering, quality, and operations is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or 10 years of equivalent experience.
• Strong ability to interpret complex engineering drawings, GD&T, and CAD models.
• Proven problem-solving skills and capability to lead root-cause analysis.
• Excellent communication with engineering, quality, operations and suppliers.
• Proficient with inspection tools and dimensional analysis practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize machining process plans for moderate to high complexity components.
• Create complete operational routers in ERP systems.
• Design fixtures and tooling solutions with CAD models and prints.
• Provide technical resource for CNC operations and troubleshooting.
• Lead continuous improvement to reduce cycle time, scrap and variation.
• Analyze dimensional data, SPC trends, and CMM reports for quality investigations.
• Maintain process documentation and tooling records with revision control.
• Mentor and train operators on manufacturing processes.
