Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or 10 years of equivalent experience.
• Advanced ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM applications and CMM data interpretation.
• Excellent communication with engineering, quality, and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize machining process plans for moderate to high complexity components.
• Create complete operational routers in ERP systems.
• Design fixtures and tooling including CAD models and prints.
• Act as a technical resource for CNC operations and troubleshooting.
• Lead continuous improvement to reduce cycle time, scrap and variation.
• Analyze dimensional data, SPC trends, and CMM reports for quality investigations.
• Maintain process documentation and revision control.
• Apply advanced machining strategies and stay updated on tooling advances.
• Mentor and train operators on manufacturing processes.
