Job summary

ITT Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer / CNC Programmer II to independently develop, optimize, and troubleshoot CNC machining processes for ITT components.

The role requires advanced CAD/CAM programming, fixture design, and process analysis, supporting multiple platforms and guiding junior engineers to drive continuous improvements. You will lead efforts to reduce cycle time, scrap, and variation while ensuring high-precision tolerance control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or 10 years equivalent experience.
• Advanced ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and CAD models.
• Ability to perform advanced problem-solving and root-cause analysis.
• Strong communication skills across engineering, quality, ops, and suppliers.
• Proficiency with inspection tools and dimensional analysis.
• CMM programs and reports troubleshooting preferred.
• Proficiency in geometry, trigonometry, and statistics.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CAD/CAM applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize machining process plans for moderate to high complexity components.
• Create complete operational routers in ERP systems.
• Design complex fixtures and tooling, including CAD models and prints.
• Serve as technical resource for CNC operations and troubleshooting.
• Lead continuous improvement to reduce cycle time, scrap, and variation.
• Analyze dimensional data, SPC trends, and CMM reports for QA investigations.
• Maintain process documentation and tooling records with revision control.
• Apply advanced machining strategies and stay updated on tooling/equipment.
• Work in high-precision environment with tight tolerances.
• Mentor and train operators on manufacturing processes.
