Job summary

Regal Rexnord Corp is seeking a CNC Lathe Machinist to produce parts on a fully onsite basis. You will set‑up and operate CNC lathes, read drawings and CNC programs, and perform first article and in‑process inspections.

Training other machinists and implementing process improvements are part of the role. We require at least three years of CNC lathe set‑up experience, the ability to read blueprints with tight tolerances, and familiarity with inspection gauges.

Qualifications

• At least three years CNC lathe set-up experience.
• Read drawings and blueprints to specification.
• Maintain tight tolerances and use gauges for inspection.
• Read and adjust CNC programs and offsets as needed.
• Knowledge of feeds, speeds and tool life in aerospace.

Responsibilities

• Complete CNC lathe set‑ups with supervision.
• Perform first article and in‑process inspections.
• Identify process improvements to reduce variation.
• Input data into visual management forms and report results.
• Continuously improve processes and eliminate waste.
• Train and mentor less experienced machinists.
• Operate from drawings and written instructions.
