Job summary

GE Vernova in Greenville, SC is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to develop and industrialize CNC machining processes, coatings, and related manufacturing steps. You will apply a standard framework to test and improve processes and support a smooth hand‑off to production.

You’ll execute hands-on development, define process parameters for safety, quality, and tool life, and collaborate with tool suppliers and production teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years in Production Process and Equipment or HS + 8+ years experience.
• On-site manufacturing experience and ability to work on site in Greenville, SC.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate across multiple groups.

Responsibilities

• Execute manufacturing process development across CNC machining and coatings with focus on process definition, validation, and industrialization.
• Apply analytical thinking to execute policy/roadmap initiatives and develop new products and processes for hand‑off to production.
• Define and optimize process parameters to improve safety, performance, quality, repeatability, and tool life.
• Support selection and development of cutting tools, tooling strategies, and process conditions.
• Drive tool performance through process and tooling optimization and standardize manufacturing methods.
• Incorporate lean principles and kaizen activities to support team initiatives and cross‑functional troubleshooting.
