Job summary

United Rotorcraft in Englewood, CO is seeking a skilled CNC Operator to set up and run 3-axis and horizontal CNC mills, read blueprints, and edit G-code to ensure precise parts for aircraft programs.

This night shift role offers a $24.96–$30.55/hour pay range plus a $2.75/hour night shift differential, with benefits eligible. Candidates should have at least three years of CNC experience in ISO/AS/MIL environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3 years CNC machining experience.
• Able to produce parts using manual mills and lathes.
• Interpret and edit CNC programs at the machine.
• Read blueprints and job traveler specifications to determine tooling requirements.
• Knowledge of machining Stainless Steel, Aluminum, and plastics.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate 3-axis and horizontal CNC mills using setup sheets.
• Carry out production and inspection duties with accuracy.
• Read prints, sketches, and work orders; follow verbal instructions.
• Perform first article and in-process inspections with calipers, micrometers, height gauge.
• Modify G-code and adjust offsets to meet conformance.
• Train entry-level CNC machinists.
