Job summary

Cadrex is seeking a CNC Operator II to run both manual and CNC machines, producing small to medium parts per specifications. The role requires setting up machines, loading tools, fixtures, and materials, and verifying part accuracy on a second shift at Ossian, IN.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in CNC operations, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. Related experience with various manufacturing processes is a plus.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of CNC machining experience.
• Proficient in machine setup, tool changes, offsets, and program adjustments.
• Knowledge of G-code programming is a plus.
• Strong understanding of machining principles and tool selection.
• Commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines to produce production parts and assemblies.
• Operate manual machines such as saws, mills, and lathes.
• Position parts using fastening devices.
• Use hand-held, electrical, and pneumatic tools as required.
• Verify accuracy of completed products and report discrepancies.
