Cadrex Manufacturing Solutions seeks a CNC Operator II to run manual and CNC machines, producing small to medium components as finished parts or subassemblies. You will set up tooling, verify programs, and inspect finished work, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.

The role requires 2–3 years of CNC experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work 2nd shift on-site in Ossian, IN. A high school diploma is required, with safety and teamwork emphasized.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years CNC machining experience.
• Experience with machine setup, offsets, and program adjustments.
• Knowledge of G-code is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operates CNC machines to produce production parts and assemblies.
• Operates manual machines such as saws, mills, and lathes.
• Positions parts in specified locations using fastening devices.
• Operates hand-held, electrical, and pneumatic tools.
• Operates lift equipment as needed.
• Uses precision measuring tools as required.
• Recognizes material types and adjusts equipment accordingly.
• Recognizes worn tooling and changes machine as required.
• Verifies accuracy of completed product or batch.
• Reports defects or non-conforming products to lead.
• Maintains clean and safe work area and follows safety regulations.
• Completes paperwork including in-process sheets.
• Sets up CNC machines by loading tools, fixtures, materials; verifies settings.
