Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a CNC Machinist to setup and operate milling equipment for pockets, grooves, and tooling. You will inspect parts, input variables, and ensure parts print to specification while coordinating with Supervisors and Engineers.

This role requires experience with CNC setup, blueprint reading, and quality inspection. You may assist with lifting and will work under the Mill Holders Supervisor in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; AMEC apprentice preferred.
• Experience in blueprint reading and prior grinding, milling, and turning is preferred.
• Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, indicators, scales, and inspection equipment.

Responsibilities

• Setup and run special product, prototypes and tooling on CNC Mills and Bridgeport Mill.
• Inspect parts for quality per inspection plan.
• Input program variables to meet print specifications.
• Perform root cause analysis and communicate issues to support teams.
• Process orders according to schedule and stage product for next operation.
• Deburr parts prior to next operation.
• May lift 32 lbs or more; push loads up to 100 lbs.
• Observe and report areas needing attention through established channels.
• Contribute to quality, delivery, cost reduction, and customer satisfaction initiatives.
