Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking an experienced machinist to operate CNC equipment and produce precision components at the Corporate Headquarters in Carol Stream, IL. The role requires reading blueprints, performing set-ups, and maintaining tight tolerances with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

Ideal candidates have hands-on machining experience, familiarity with Prototrak or similar CNC controls, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while following standard operating procedures

Qualifications

• Experience reading blueprints and tolerances.
• Familiarity with measurement tools and quality standards.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and BOMs.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up CNC machining equipment and troubleshoot as needed.
• Machine stainless steel, aluminum, and plastics per specs.
• Ensure tight tolerances and proper finishes per drawings.
• Maintain clean, safe workstations and follow safety policies.
• Document and report issues or shortages to supervisors.
• Read and interpret assembly drawings, schematics, and work orders.
