Job summary

rms Surgical seeks a Cell Lead to coordinate and lead the Milling machining team, ensuring alignment with production schedules on 2nd shift (Mon-Thu, 4:00 pm–2:00 am). The role requires strong leadership, CNC Mills experience, and a focus on safety and quality.

Ideal candidates have 5 years in operations, knowledge of machining processes, and the ability to train and develop staff while supporting Lean and Operational Excellence initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5 years realted operations experience.
• Knowledge of manufacturing machinery, equipment and processes.
• Experience managing internal relationships and team facilitation.
• Problem solving and troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to train and develop employees.
• Ability to work around chemicals, fumes, dust and odors.

Responsibilities

• Lead milling team and coordinate shift operations.
• Execute to production schedule and assign machines.
• Maintain materials and supplies for production needs.
• Provide on-the-job training and mentorship.
• Ensure compliance with work instructions, 5S and lean initiatives.
• Communicate production issues and priorities between teams.
