rms Surgical seeks a Cell Lead to coordinate and lead the Milling machining team, ensuring alignment with production schedules on 2nd shift (Mon-Thu, 4:00 pm–2:00 am). The role requires strong leadership, CNC Mills experience, and a focus on safety and quality.

Ideal candidates have 5 years in operations, knowledge of machining processes, and the ability to train and develop staff while supporting Lean and Operational Excellence initiatives.

Mill Lead Position Summary

The Cell Leader will coordinate, monitor, and lead the activities of the Milling machining team in support of assigned goals and objectives in a manufacturing environment, working with a variety of production machinery and equipment.

Shift: 2nd - Monday-Thursday, 4:00 pm - 2:00 am

Responsibilities

Cell Lead Duties and Responsibilities

• Must be able to work 2nd shift - Monday-Thursday, 4:00 pm - 2:00 am
• Execute to the production schedule
• Assign employees to run machines and jobs, ensuring that machines are running efficiently and effectively
• Ensure the area has materials and supplies to meet prodution needs
• Provide employees on the job training and mentoring
• Ensure employees are following work instructions and processes
• Communicate production issues, schedules and priorities within and between teams
• Provide employees with goals, performance initiatives, areas of accountability, conducting corrective action when needed
• Read and comply with work instructions, set up sheets and checklists
• Maintain an organized (5s) work area
• Participate and lead team to participate in Operational Excellence program (lean manufacturing)
• Understand and comply with Cretex professional competencies, company policies and employee manual
• Adhere to safety policies, support the company quality systems and processes
• Complete all other work as assigned

Cell Lead Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Machining experience with medical components, devices, or instruments
• Previous experience in a leadership role with direct reports
• Programming experience with CNC Mills
• Experience with set-up on CNC Mills
• Experience in troubleshooting of CNC Mills
• Preferred business/technical degree

Pay Range

USD $25.14 - USD $49.23 /Yr.
