Qualifications

• Requires 2-year technical diploma or associate degree in CNC Machining or Machine Tool Technology.
• Demonstrated depth in independent setups on large milling centers and machining close-tolerance parts.
• Proficiency with controller-level G&M code editing and GD&T.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to adjust cutting parameters and prevent deflection.
• Stable work history with progress in technical roles.
• Must reside within commuting distance of Duluth, MN / Superior, WI and have US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex, independent setups on large-scale CNC milling centers.
• Edit G-code and optimize program paths at the controller.
• Interpret engineering prints and apply GD&T standards.
• Conduct first-article inspections with precision metrology tools.
• Collaborate with design engineers and welding teams to improve workflows.
• Provide floor leadership and mentor junior operators.
