Job summary

Blue Origin in Kent, WA seeks a seasoned Technician - Maintenance to ensure CNC machinery runs smoothly for spaceflight hardware production. You will lead maintenance, perform preventative work, and coordinate factory services while training peers.

This role requires extensive hands-on CNC experience and strong teamwork in a safety-focused environment. Expect to work across shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed, with strict adherence to safety practices and documentation.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in machine maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair CNC equipment including mills, lathes, lasers, robots.
• Familiar with reading electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Familiar with precision hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage machine tool service requirements and needs.
• Perform or schedule factory required preventative maintenance.
• Maintain and repair machine tools and equipment.
• Assemble and install mechanical equipment and systems such as production machinery/tools.
• Maintain all machine service records.
• Schedule factory repair technicians.
• Serve as a point of contact with factory for service.
• Provide training for preventative maintenance to staff.
