Job summary

Blue Origin in Seattle, WA, is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist/Programmer to set up, operate, and maintain advanced CNC machines for spaceflight components. You will contribute to first article success and tight tolerance parts.

You will work with engineers to document production processes, prioritize work per schedule, and ensure conformance to engineering specifications while upholding safety and quality in a demanding manufacturing environment. This role may require second or weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of CNC machining experience on 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machines.
• Experience with nickel-based alloys and aluminum.
• Proficiency with CNC controls such as Fanuc, Siemens, Mazatrol.
• Ability to read blueprints with GD&T per ASME Y14.5M.
• Willingness to work second shift or weekend shifts.
• Physically able to access restricted areas and lift 35 lbs.
• Commitment to quality and safe manufacturing.

• Set up, program, and machine 3-, 4-, and 5-axis mills and multi-axis lathes.
