Swagelok in Strongsville, OH is hiring a Level II Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team producing precision fluid-system components. You’ll learn on multiple machines in a clean, temperature-controlled environment, with a focus on safety and quality.

The role suits an entry-level machinist who is eager to learn, works well independently, and is reliable in a fast-paced setting. Competitive pay starts at $18.40/hour with overtime and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills including fractions and decimals.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow daily start-up and shift handoff procedures.
• Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment per standard work instructions.
• Follow quality plans and inspect parts with precision tools.
• Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Monitor outputs and escalate issues to maintain production.
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine care on machines.
• Document production activities and maintain records.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety procedures.
