The role requires thorough attention to detail and strong troubleshooting skills. Candidates should have a high school diploma and at least 30 months of machining experience, with internal qualification as a Level 2 Machine Operator.

Qualifications

• Minimum 30 months of machining experience.
• Must be fully qualified as a Level 2 Machine Operator.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Advanced knowledge about metal or plastic cutting processes and equipment.
• Self-motivated and able to learn at a fast pace.
• Proficient machining, communication, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machining equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform start-stop procedures including loading raw material and machine shutdown.
• Make tooling and fixture changes and set-ups.
• Complete records and forms accurately.
• Inspect machined parts visually and dimensionally to quality standards.
• Identify and report machine malfunctions and part discrepancies to supervisor.
• Presets tooling as required and maintain tooling accuracy.
• Maintain daily, semi-annual and annual machine maintenance.
