Job summary

Swagelok in Strongsville, OH is seeking a Level III Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will produce fluid-system components, set up and run machines, and maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards in a clean, temperature-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 30 months of machining or manufacturing experience (or current qualification as a Swagelok Level II Machine Operator).
• Experience with machine setup, blueprint reading, and basic programming.
• Troubleshooting machining equipment.
• Knowledge of tooling and precision measurement devices.

Responsibilities

• Follow Swagelok’s SPS and participate in daily shift start-up meetings.
• Operate and changeover manufacturing equipment per instructions.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring equipment.
• Monitor outputs and adjust tooling and machine settings for quality.
• Identify and troubleshoot machining issues independently.
• Complete preventative maintenance and machine care.
• Coordinate or escalate repairs when needed.
• Document production activities accurately.
• Suggest process improvements to boost quality and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety procedures.
• Train and mentor less experienced operators.
