Job summary

Swagelok in Northeast Ohio is hiring a Level II Machine Operator for our manufacturing team. The role focuses on producing fluid-system components that meet the highest quality standards in a clean, temperature-controlled environment.

You will learn on multiple machines, work with precision tools, and follow safety protocols, with training provided from day one. Overtime may be available to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic math skills, adding and subtracting fractions and decimals.
• Self-motivated with an ability to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow Swagelok’s production system, including daily shift start-up meetings and handoff reports.
• Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment per standard work instructions.
• Follow quality plans and specs to ensure compliant parts.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring equipment.
• Identify quality, machining, tooling, and process issues and escalate as needed.
• Complete preventative maintenance and routine machine care.
• Document production activities and maintain records.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
