Job summary

Tecomet is seeking a CNC Machinist II for the 3rd shift in Florida. The role requires 3+ years of CNC machining experience and the ability to operate, set up, and maintain CNC machines while upholding GMP/GDP practices.

The ideal candidate will perform precision grinding, tool changes, measurements, and routine maintenance, contributing to continuous improvement and achieving productivity targets in a safe manner.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years CNC Machining experience.
• Associate degree/certificate in Tooling & Machining or Machinist apprenticeship preferred.
• Strong math skills with precise measurement and counting.
• Ability to operate, set up and maintain CNC machines per instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up CNC machines within tolerances per work instructions.
• Perform difficult CNC machining including progressive work on varied parts and metals.
• Change dull tooling and make minor offsets as needed for wear.
• Ensure quality using OOQ standards and measuring equipment.
• Maintain PM schedule and perform routine maintenance.
• Record activities on the job tracking system and support continuous improvement.
