Job summary

Tecomet is seeking a CNC Machinist II for the 3rd shift to produce machined parts by operating CNC machines while maintaining quality and safety standards. The role requires documenting activities and adhering to GMP/GDP and continuous improvement practices.

Qualified candidates will have 3+ years of CNC experience, a high school diploma or GED, and may hold an associate degree or certificate in tooling and machining. This position is on-site with standard safety practices in place.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years CNC Machining experience.
• Associate's degree/certificate in Tooling & Machining or Machinist apprenticeship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set-up CNC machines within tolerances following instructions.
• Perform progressive machining of parts with very close tolerances.
• Change dull tooling and adjust offsets as needed for wear.
• Ensure product quality by OOQ standards using measuring equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance per PM schedule.
• Follow GMP/GDP and complete routers/cards.
• Maintain safe working practices and report Safety, Health & Environmental issues.
• Achieve productivity targets and suggest improvements.
• Record all activities in the job tracking system.
• Identify and support continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain 5S/housekeeping standards.
• Perform other duties as required by supervisor.
