Job summary

Tecomet is seeking a CNC Machinist II for 2nd or 3rd shift with 3+ years of experience. The role involves operating, setting up, and maintaining CNC machines, assuring quality, and following GMP/GDP standards while contributing to continuous improvement efforts.

The candidate will handle tooling changes, perform routine maintenance, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment focused on safety and productivity.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years CNC Machining experience.
• Associate's degree/certificate in Tooling & Machining or Machinist apprenticeship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up CNC machines within tolerances following instructions and drawings.
• Perform difficult CNC work including progressive machining of varied parts and metals.
• Change dull tooling and adjust for tooling wear.
• Ensure product quality using OOQ standards and varied measuring equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance per PM schedule.
• Follow GMP/GDP and complete job routers/cards.
• Maintain safety and identify Safety, Health & Environmental issues.
• Support productivity targets and identify improvements.
• Record activities in the job tracking system.
• Identify and escalate manufacturing issues with team leads.
