Job summary

TECOMET in Indiana is seeking a CNC Machinist II for the 3rd shift with flexible hours. You will operate, set up, and maintain CNC machines, reading engineering drawings, and ensuring parts meet tight tolerances.

This role requires 3+ years of CNC machining experience, a high school diploma, and strong measurement and quality skills. You will participate in GMP-like practices, keep records, and strive for continuous improvement while meeting safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years CNC Machining experience.
• Associate degree or certificate in Tooling & Machining or Machinist apprenticeship preferred.
• UK GCSE/NVQ Math and English is desirable (UK only).

Responsibilities

• Operate and Set-up CNC machines within specified tolerances following work instructions and drawings.
• Perform difficult CNC Machinist work including progressive machining of various parts and metals with tight tolerances.
• Change dull tooling and make minor offsets and adjustments as needed.
• Ensure product quality by using OOQ standards and a range of measuring equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance per daily checklist and PM schedule.
• Follow GMP/GDP and complete job routers/cards.
• Maintain safe working practices and report safety issues.
• Achieve productivity targets and identify improvement opportunities.
• Record activities on the job tracking system and support continuous improvement.
