Job summary

TECOMET in Indiana is seeking a CNC Machinist II for the 3rd shift with flexible hours. You will operate, set up, and maintain CNC machines to produce precision parts while upholding GMP/GDP practices and OOQ quality standards.

Responsibilities include solving tooling wear, reading engineering drawings, recording activities, and contributing to continuous improvement. A high school diploma or GED and 3+ years of CNC experience are required; some associates degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 3+ years CNC Machining experience required.
• Associates degree/certificate in Tooling & Machining or Machinist apprenticeship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set-up CNC machines within specified tolerances following work instructions and drawings.
• Perform progressive machining of various parts and metals with tight tolerances.
• Change dull tooling and make minor offsets for wear.
• Ensure product quality using OOQ standards and measurement equipment.
• Follow PM schedule and maintain daily machine checklist; perform hand finishing.
