Job summary

Precision Castparts is seeking a Level Two Machinist in South Carolina to operate 2-5 axis CNC/Automated machines and standalone equipment. You will set up fixtures and tools, load programs, and perform offset adjustments while maintaining quality through in-process inspections.

The role requires basic print reading, knowledge of G/M codes, and the ability to work on the night shift (6pm–6am). Expect a collaborative, safety-focused environment with emphasis on 6S housekeeping.

Qualifications

• CNC operator experience with 2-5 axis mills/lathe.
• Ability to read blueprints and prints.
• Knowledge of basic G and M codes.
• Basic measurement and inspection skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate 2-5 axis CNC/Automated machine cells and standalone machines.
• Set up fixtures and cutting tools; load CNC programs and offsets.
• Perform in-process inspections and document quality findings.
• Maintain 6S work area and communicate across shifts.
